I LOVE making dresses from Indian saris. I found pink stretch fabric for the lining to match one of the sari’s I had bought at the fleamarket, and made the Azalea dress. I had to take it in a lot on the sides – about 8cm on each side and ended up sewing the side seams together with the lining and chiffon because of the alterations. It’s a beautiful sunny day here and I am wearing my new Azalea :-)
