  Thank you all! In fact, I’m not that tall, high waisted, wide legged trousers are just the best at making it seem that way ;) I drafted my own pattern for these, based on a personal sloper (hence the good fit) but Burdastyle has a pattern that should provide a similar look (it was in the 10 2010 magazine, and I’ve seen it here on the site). That pattern doesn’t have back pockets which happen to be the only tricky bit of construction in these trousers.
