Navy and white tote bag with a corded strap. It’s a really clever self-closing design by Rensz (www.burdastyle.com/profiles/rensz). I found the tutorial on DesignSponge. Even though it was relatively simple, I had to unpick a few times because I was a bit careless. Learning how to add the grommets was slightly challenging (the instructions on the box were not that clear). For practicality, I have added a zipped pocket in the lining and a phone pocket as well. Otherwise everything gets jumbled up in my bags!

Thanks :) And if you don’t sew the pockets inside, it’s a pretty easy project and the tutorial is well written.

Great work! I love the design of these bags – so simple, yet so interesting! Nice work on inside zippered pocket (I never had patience to do them :D )

Thank you. The design is so well done, I agree. For the pocket, I followed this tutorial http://u-handbag.typepad.com/uhandblog/2007/02/zippered_inner_.html and it was nice and simple :)
