Part of my preparation/reward for my marathon training was to run the Bacchus half marathon this weekend. It’s a half-trail, half-road, fancy dress (costumed) race through a vineyard in Surrey with wine tasting every 2 miles, plus a free glass of wine and hog roast at the end. See why I signed up??
So for my costume, I used navy and white wicking supplex and used the Jalie running skirt pattern for the bottom half, and used my self-drafted knit sloper for the top, plus an added kerchief to make it nautical. :)
There are loads more details on my drafting and construction techniques over at FehrTrade.com
