Description

these are a pair of shorts made for a pattern making exersize. We were learning how to draft pant patterns, and made a pair of shorts as a result. we dropped the waist 7cm at the front and 5 at the back, made a waistband and all the parts of the fly, and also made 4 different kinds of pockets! tourser, jean, patch and a welt pocket (gotta love sewing thos ol’ welt pockets….cough)
anywho im lucky that the size 12 basic block we use fits me, so i can use all the patterns we make at home~!
We made these in calico as a trial assemblige….but i couldnt put them to waste! so i dyed them with blue/yello/black dye. i like dip dying…so i gave it a go!

sadly they are the weeniest bit too small, but never worry! i will make another pair slightly bigger!

Haha, make that four Shins fans! :-) Great shorts, Ruffles – your dye job is great, makes them look extra spectacular.
