Not intended, as the originals, to be used for bailing water from a boat. Surprisingly, is water worthy, tho’! However, useful as container for myriad of things. Adds a nautical touch to “cottage” or porch. Works as a tote for beach, gym or pool. Some awesome ones are made from old sails-vintage, in particular. I could not locate any for reasonable price & also discovered most have but one logo, or set of numbers to install character. Thus, I ink jet printed some pretend businesses & appliqued symbols. Yes, the “1” is backwards & an accident. Fortunate to discover sails have numbers printed in reverse to identify when coming & going. No pattern. I hand cut freestyle as I went along & used pot lid for tracing circle as a perfect match diameter for bottom. Finished all edges-twill tape, French seam or several rows of zigzag stitching.
