Crystal Spring, ...
Inspired by Audrey Hepburn’s LBD in Sabrina. Butterick B5603. Retro Butterick ‘56. The only change I made to the pattern was lengthening the skirt. Dress is fully lined. I am a little disappointed I haven’t had an occasion to wear it to yet.
The neck facing/ neck band this was torturous. It hates me. Otherwise the dress was very easy to construct. If I’d done the neck band differently it would have probably been a lot nicer to me. I used an invisible zipper.
I had the radio on while taking pictures and Don’t Stop Believin’ came on. Random lip syncing ensued.

Not sure, I was going through the stash and saw the black shiny silky fabric and immediately thought of Audrey Hepburn’s LBD in Sabrina and the retro Butterick pattern I hadn’t tried yet.
