This is the first burda pattern I’ve made. It’s the Sabrina Jumper Dress, which I made without pockets. It’s also not hemmed (due to the thickness of the fabric) but overstitched with decorative stitching. The buttons on the back are also “decorative” (i.e. sewn over the straps).
Fabric: recycled tablecloth ($4), from my local Goodwill store. 1 x zip (45 cm, pattern calls for 35 but I already had this one) 2 x recycled buttons ($0.00) from an old pair of pants (the ones on the back) 2 x wooden toggles ($0.50 ea) Total cost for this (including the pattern) = $9.

Thanks guys! I was the same, Kaitui – it wasn’t until I found the fabric that I thought it might work. Voila! :) I’m halfway through my second one already! LOL
