loved the simple, cute style of the sabrina jumper and admired several versions of this pattern like the one by corduroycoat. decided to try contrasting material for the pleats and I initially thought it was starting to look ‘cheerleader-y’, but after sewing the hem I’m happier with how the two fabrics work. I will probably put a few more pleats in a create a more bubble-skirt look and maybe try this one again in one fabric.

Super cute! I really love your version of this dress. I’m definitely a fan of the two colors; it “breaks up” the pink and shows off the lines and the fit. It looks great on you – not too cheerleeder-y at all. Oh, and the matching pedicure rocks!
