Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I tried the sabrina pattern (upsized Size 50) and it came out very well. I made a mistake with the pleats and had to re-do them but everything else was quite easy. Because I wanted to wear it last night I skipped the straps, but I will ad them soon (or should I leave them?).
I’ve worn it with a blue turleneck and it fits sooooooooo good! My boyfriend kept saying how amazing my new dress is just until he was too waisted to talk :)
I will post a picture of me wearing it as soon as possible.
I think it’s good to see how the patterns look on plus-size women, so I realy feel sorry for showing you this lame pics without my huge but looking great in this dress ;)
Material Notes
colured stiff cotton from ikea (as we all noticed) thin stretchy cotton in dark blue (3€ per meter) no zipper (maybe I'll add one but I don't think so) no lining (It looks terrible from the inside)

this is really nice, |I look forward to seeing pics of it on. We just got an Ikea in my hometown and this dress has made me want to go fabric shopping there. I always think that their prints are too much for a whole garment so i really like the way you have used it…
