Description

I really liked this pattern. It turned out a bit tight in the bodice and a bit short (I’m 5’9" and forgot to adjust the length) but it looks really cute over shorts that way I can run and jump and not worry about what I’m showing. The photos don’t do the colors in this fabric justice. They’re absolutely gorgeous. I also modified the pattern by not lining the top area. My bosom would have fallen out if I added another layer there plus it just didn’t seem necessary. I also didn’t add the buttons or pockets to this one yet. (Ran out of fabric and didn’t have any cute buttons)

Material Notes

Silk dupioni, zipper, interfacing

The fabric is so great! The dress looks awesome and would be really cute for winter as well with a t-shirt underneath. (It’s almost winter here in New Zealand…)
I’ve just bought the pattern now!

I like that pattern and the fabric you used for this dress. I only would use the zipper in other colour.
