Made using Vogue 8363 but shortened, of a divine rust-red wool/silk mix I bought during our trip to Japan. The skirt is fully lined with polyester acetate, closes with an invisible zip and I covered the button with the same fabric using one of those kits in the haberdashery section. The seams are Hong Kong bound with bias cut strips of cotton, and the hem is finished with a slightly wider bias cut tape of the same cotton.
Also with a review of this pattern on my blog here
wool/silk mix, acetate lining, bias cut strips of cotton for HongKong seaming and hem-tape, invisible zip, self-fabric covered button
Sweet dresses, an outfit for a doll, and cute embellishments are fun for the holidays!
