Can I ask how many yards/metres of fabric you used to make this? Is the front made out of two pieces or just one big rectangle? – am trying to get my head around the construction, but the spatial thinking is making me queasy! Beautiful work – a really graceful and elegnat creation!

I think I used 3 or 4yds, it was a while ago…but I actually used 4 different peices of fabric and sewed them at the sides….I hope that makes sense? I wasn’t quite sure myself when I made it. Haha it was my first time drapping. Thank you.

Aaaaah, the tape rule, hehehe… just kidding. Lovely gown. Simple and clean. I wonder how the back looks like though, and if it’s possible to have it with sleeves. I’ll totally wear it, :)
