I made this running dress from a retro tennis dress pattern I picked up. It is super easy to make and comfy to wear. I am yet to try it out though.
light blue sports material I picked up really cheap!

That looks great! I have to try it out – I only walk and cycle, though, but I am sure it’ll work for me as well! :-)

Hey, I’m quite the jogger and would love to have a running dress. Any tips?

Hi.. The best tip I have is to make what is comfortable. The length of this is quite short so I wear a pair of 1/2 tights under it, but it is still long enough to go without tights. On the sides I added in 10cm splits, just to make it easier to stride out in, and it is made of actual sports material.
If you like tight/fitted running tops, try to do that for the top half, and then allow it to have enough room so it falls nicely over the hips and bum (shouldn’t ride up as you run this way).
Also, stay away from fiddly clasps or things which could rub during a run. This pattern originally has a zip in the back but I left that out and made sure the material had stretch so it could be just slipped on and off with ease.
