So its summer time, and over here we have pretty much missed out on all of spring time cause of ridiculous amounts of rain….So now that its actually starting to get warmer, its time to make a nice big comfy blouse :-)
The instructions weren’t the easiest thing to follow….so i just didnt. Not the hardest thing to figure out, but still annoying. I used two op shop fabrics i had laying around, need to start using what i already have instead of buying new things! So that is my aim over the holidays, to use as much of the fabric that i already have. I added a little yoke around the lapels and back neck just to make it a bit more interesting, and i sewed a little flying duck onto the corner.
It was also quite long, so i took off a fairly large amount…but perhaps took off too much. Im undecided on whether its the perfect length untucked, or just that little bit too short. I guess time will tell!
Hope you like it, and excuse the rainbow paddle pop i was eating :) i think ill be making a few little blouses the next few weeks.

Oh, I like how yours turned out. Mine is quite plain and since I was so frustrated by the terrible directions I didn’t bother to schedule a photo shoot. Now it is FREEZING here and it doesn’t get much wear. I also chopped a lot off the bottom. I suppose I should go ahead and get it posted. I was also thinking about adding additional button holes and buttons to the ends of the lapels to keep them down. I like how you added that flying duck.
