I made this dress for my 7th form ball…
Inspired by Maryy’s C-A-K-E dress I set out to make a ruffled, lacy, poufy dress one weekend and after hours and hours of gathering and sewing, gathering and sewing, finally, I had a dress fit for a ball! =)
I love how it turned out and I had so many comments on it during the night that it was well worth the toil =D
I basically used the bust of the heat dress tutorial of Maryy’s to make the top of the dress and then added a basic, tulip skirt and sewed as many layers of ruffle on as i could!!
Brocade for the bust and layers of cream satin and cream and pink lace..
Sparkle in pretty tanks, easy dresses, and a romper with splashes of sequins.
