I used a pattern from the late 1960s – Vogue 7375 – to make this blouse. I really dig the ruffle at the neck. An easy project, but I think I will add horizontal darts to the front and back so it is more fitted and can be more easily tucked in without being so full and blousy. I also used an invisible zipper for the back closure. I don’t know what took me so long to start using them, but I am officially in love with invisible zippers now!

Thank you! Yep…It’s definitely invisible zippers for me from now on. I was actually intimated by them for the longest time so imagine my surprise when I discovered they are actually easier to apply!

I love this shirt, it’s very stylish in my opinion. So cute!!! You actually did a good job with the ruffles around the neck.
