Ruffled Yoga Pant

Added Jun 9, 2010

by Sadie Fox Me...

Denver, Colorado...

I found this amazing ruffled fabric at Denver Fabrics. It was on the sale table and there was 3 yards of it. It is a synthetic ruffled fabric with some stretch. I decided to use a yoga pants pattern that I already had in my pattern stash. I made the waistband out of an old t-shirt.

Material Notes

Ruffled synthetic fabric, jersey knit

Garment Type
Bohemian, Romantic
Knits/Jersey, Polyester

Very charming! I have a some similar fabric and I thought that I would make tops from it, but I like the idea of loose fitting yoga pants…. Yours look wonderful!

Sweet of you to say Robogramma! I am not a tiny person AT ALL, but the loose fit of the drapey fabric seems to work for me. I am short though, only 5’3". I made the size 12, but there is a ton of stretch in my repurposed tee waist band. I love to wear the pants with a longer black tunic that covers my backside. They are long and flowing and really fun.

Those are the neatest pants I have seen in a loooong time. I’ll bet your just a tiny person. Almost enough inspiration to make me diet.
