Ruffled print top

This is one of many tops that I think I made with a basic butterick top. It’s exquisite for using the bolts and bolts of ruffled jersey prints (Called Pizzazz) at Vogue Fabrics, Evanston, IL. Not cheap stuff at $9.99 a yard…but a little goes a long way as you can see here. I just used the ruffled fabric for the bodice, and a metallic jersey for the sleeves. I love, love this top…it’s a tad big, I think I was using a size 10 (the smallest for this pattern)…next time around I’m using a size 8.

It looks like I’m selling fabric or patterns…I’m not. I’ve written a smartphone app, a ref guide with more than 100 fabrics…the ruffled jersey is not there yet, but it will be soon because I love this stuff.
