Description

This skirt was made using McCalls M6024 dress pattern with the following alterations:
-Used the skirt only pattern pieces
-Removed 4″ from the length
-Added a 1″ waistband
-Added two wrap ties to the skirt waist band
-Added 1″ to the width of the ruffles
FYI don’t adjust the length of the ruffles due to shortening the skirt, keeping the length gives you a more exaggerated ruffle.
-Attach the ruffle by pleating it to the skirt

The top was made using vintage McCalls 9458 view C with the following alterations:
-Removed 4″ from the length
-Removed 2″ from the length of the sleeves
-Added a 28″x6″ pleated bottom sleeve
-Added a 1″ band to the bottom of the sleeves

Chandler’s top was made using vintage Simplicity 9562 dress pattern with the following alterations:
-Removed 9 1/2″ from the length of the skirt
-Removed 2″ from the length of the bodice
-Removed 1″ off the length of the sleeves
-Added a 26″x3″ ruffle band
