This is one of the looks I used in my student collection, “A Modern Medieval Fairytale.” My inspiration for the collection was posed by the question, “What would medieval fairies wear today?” The theme for the show this year was “Time” and designers were asked to re-interpret time periods.
A modern cloak-like dress with a cool neck detail. A gathered neckline that creates a large ruffle that is tied with a bow. I love the simplicity and femininity of the dress.
