I made this dress to wear to a wedding, very fast to sew up and very fun to wear!
excuse the wrinkles, this is after wearing all day.
I used new simplicity pattern 2497, only changes i made were to omit the pockets and I fully lined it.

OMG, i was looking at this exact pattern this morning for a wedding i have to go to in Oct. was it super comfy? i was thinking of using cotton sateen because of my skin sensitivity to certain materials.

Ah, I just love this. So gorgeous, so stylish. And bamboo voile sounds like a great fabric. I have been eyeing off this pattern and I think I will be buying after seeing this.
