I used the Gold Ruffle Clutch How-To in order to create this from the scraps I had left over from the fabric I’ve been using to make the Fatina shift dress. Ironically, I actually prefer the clutch in this fabric to the dress! I only followed up to a certain step because I didn’t have enough fabric to do the clutch in exactly the same way as in the How To. I lined it a bit haphazardly, but you can’t really see it. I think the ruffles and the button make it look a bit vintagey.
Material Notes
Cotton I got on Ebay, polycotton left over from my Lesley skirt (there's such an awful lot of it, I need to find something else to do with it!!) button I got from THE MOST AWESOME BUTTON SHOP EVER. If any of you are ever in Cardiff, go find Claire's Buttons. It's such a tiny shop but has the bets array of buttons I've ever seen. When I bought these buttons along with some others, I was like a little Gollum, taking them out all the time just to admire them...

I like it so much! I didn’t like the original at first but I’ll give it a try I think..
