Description
This pattern is both for dress and tunic, but since I didn’t had so much fabric of my butterflies it became a tunic. I adjusted the size to one smaller, and I think it became nice. I do love the ruched-front and I think it looks very nice in the back too. The pattern I used is #104 Burda 5/2010.
So maybe I will try to make a dress next time ;)
Material Notes
I have used blend fabric, and it doesn’t wrinkle, so I like the quality. It’s easy to have when you are travelling :)

I must say it’s a perfect tunic, much better than the dress could be. This beautiful print looks very nice with black, your tunic plays main part but lets see your beauty. You’ve got very nice result!!!:-)

Very nice! Did you make the v-neck according to the instructions, or did you do something different? It looks different and very neat.

Thank you! yes, I used a double fabric around the v-neck as well so it looks more like the finish as the arms :)

This is such a gorgeous top and the fabric is so beautiful. I would never have considered this pattern but you have opened my eyes once again to the possibility of another badly styled Burda pattern. You look lovely in this top.

That’s very kind of you to say :) I’ve had this pattern for some time, but finally I decided to try it, and like you say; it was better than expected. Maybe I will try making a dress too :)
