Description

This dress is based on pattern #117 Burda 05/2008. I’ve tried this pattern once before and then I did sew it of satin without any stretch, but this time I like the dress much better with stretch fabric. Then I didn’t need any zipper in the back either. I didn’t lined it, but made facing instead. I have used a knitted ribbon in the front and for the shoulder straps. It’s a very comfy dress to wear on holiday ;)

Material Notes

Polyester stretch and knitted ribbon.

Looking for inspiration for a new jersey fabric I bought yesterday, I came across this dress. Yet again, you look amazing. Beautiful dress in a beautiful material. Do you ever sleep, or are you sewing nonstop? Lovely dress Ellen !

Very beautiful, I like this pattern, too, very much and it was made especially for you – so fragile and womanish you look in it. The colour style is great as always:-)

This is really nice Ellen. As I had said to Mary, it’s a full time job keeping up with both of you….so sew many projects. How much wardrobe space do you have?? I’m at overload!

Nice dress and beautiful fabric not to mention how great you look in it. The neckline is kind of deep so a zipper at the back is not needed since the fabric stretch as you said. Enjoy your weekend
