I made these shorts using the Ruby pattern. However, after I finished making them, they were way too big! So, I gave them as an early birthday present to my brother’s girlfriend, Catherine and they fit her perfectly!
Note: I LOVE the pattern on the fabric so much, I went back to pretty much buy the whole bolt even though I have no idea what to do with it all. I enjoy just looking at it!
Also I didn’t have 10 of the same colour buttons, so i just alternated between blue and red ones. I think it matches the fabric well!

These are incredibly adorable! The fabric is perfect. I am completely with you on buying the rest of the bolt… I definitely have a weak spot for that! For some reason, creativity seems to thrive on using fabric you had no original intention for.
