Two cute elephants called Ruby and Patches. This pattern is by Jodie Carleton (http:/vintagericrac.blogspot.com). Hers are called “Parsley and Beet”.
They are made from cotton and have button joints for legs and arms. I handstitched the faces and toenail detail.
I made them for my friend who is expecting her first baby in May. Her baby shower is today so unfortunately I have to part with them today.
I think I will make a pair for my own daughters.
100% cotton bodies and clothes, hollowfil stuffing, buttons for joints.

They are delightful, no wonder you were keen for me to take a look! Excellent work. The big question…were you able to give them away??

Yes, I was able to part with them. I did feel teary and anxious though. Mel loved them and all guests at the baby shower had a good look at them and commented on how lovely they were. That eased the pain of separtion slightly.
