This is my second make of the Minoru jacket from Sewaholic patterns. The changes I made:
1. Added patch pockets with a flap, with fully bagged lining.
2. Added storm flaps covering the zip, with an under flap so the snaps are invisible from the front.
3. I lengthened the jacket by adding a hem facing.
4. I inter-lined the jacket with sew-in interfacing on the following pieces: jacket fronts, jacket back, collar, and with muslin on the jacket sleeves.
I have made available for download a step by step tutorial and pattern pieces for the pockets. Please see this link to my blog for more details.
A step by step tutorial on how I did the storm flaps is available from this link on my blog.
A step by step tutorial on how I finished the corners of the plackets and the hem facing is available from this link
Finally a step by step tutorial on how I added the heavy duty snaps to the jacket is available from this link
With these changes I have now a Minoru Deluxe!
