Pattern: Butterick 4827
So I needed a costume for the RenFaire and for a Hogwarts Halloween Party that I am attending. I didn’t want to make two costumes, nor could I afford it, so I made a Rowena Ravenclaw costume, since she is supposedly from medieval times.
I sewed a 14 as usual, but probably could have made a smaller size, even after using my slopers. The arms were huge, I took them in about 2 inches. The neckline came out to be more of a boatneck than a scoop but that was fine. I omitted the lace-up back since I didn’t have enough fabric for any facings and I can slip it over my head.
Either way, it was a quick sew. There were a few things I would change next time, but nothing major.

This is beautiful. The silkiness of the material makes it drape really well. Awesome!
