I was driving across the Icelandic Highlands, during the 10hrs bumpy ride I knitted a bow-tie scarf and matching headband in brioche stitch from Icelandic wool. I named the headband and scarf of the respective roads we were driving whilst I knitted them.
“Léttlopi” – a type of Icelandic wool (although any wool would do). I knitted a 2 threads together (for extra warmth) so I needed 2 skeins of 50gr/100m for the scarf and 1 skein for the headband.
