I made this 10" round teacup potholder from scrap fabric. I machine embroidered the design first and used my sewing machine to attached or quilt the fabric design to the batting. To avoid sewing into the design, I decided to add circles. I edgestitched the bottom to the top and added a few straight lines to secure the pieces together. I purchased bias tape to finish the edges.
Thread, muslin, quilt fabric, extra wide double fold bias, embroidery design and batting.
Twists on feminine classics, like a bold patterned shift dress and pants with a racing stripe.
