I really wanted a spring sweater as shown in the pattern but I had the rose fabric which was great for a spring top. The color also seems to fit in with the new spring pastel trend.
May not take me 15 hrs to finish if I knew better but I was very much learning along the way from adjusting the pattern to the right seam finish, serging etc…But I am happy with the result. :) I used new techniques for the first time, princess seams, V neck facing, lining, hand stitching blind hem and at the end I realized the catch stitch works better on stretchy fabric, which I used for the front side… Yes time consuming but much worth the nice hem finish.
Twists on feminine classics, like a bold patterned shift dress and pants with a racing stripe.
