My mother went trough the horrors of chemotherapy and therapeutic radiation during last year. Usually, very agile person was forced to stay in bed for months, so she discovered a new hobby – embroidery! I have found some of the special embroidery needles, cheerfully colored threads and base materials to stitch. At first, she was a bit sceptic but she decided to make a few roses with the rosebuds. She finished it in few hours, which is not bad for a complete beginner and gave a comment like “I see some of the mistakes that I made, but I’ll keep trying”.
Then, I asked it for myself. I took some black cotton and pillow-fill and made a small pillow, cca 40×40 cm. Looks kinda ethno-trashy-vintage and I totally love it :D
