I had this gorgeous denim fabric embroidered with roses, and decided to make an apron out of it. I’m only somewhat pleased with the results. It looks okay, but I should have used a more square, utilitarian apron pattern. The denim doesn’t lie the same way cotton or a light polyester would, so it makes this cute little apron pattern look a bit strange. I’ll bear that in mind for next time.
I used about 1.5 yards of dark denim embroidered with roses. I also put a rose applique patch on the chest pocket, for a little extra decoration.
