Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Dress 2 for the Spring/Summer Palette Challenge hosted by Colette Patterns. I used a Burda pattern from the october 2010 issue. I love the nekline, the shape is so flattering. But I changed the skirt for my own 8 panels pattern. It’s gathered at the waist and makes the dress perfect for twirling…
The medium-weight pink fabric is of mysterious composition. I lined the top of the dress in a light flowered cotton and used some of it to make hem tape, I wanted to make it nice on the inside as well.

I know two: Marina Tejidos and Julian Lopez. J.Lopez is my favourite as they have a great stock, beautiful fabric, but they are a little bit more expensive. But if you come during sales period, they have very good deals.
