Cool Fabric!

this was a custom – made to order tunic. he brought the fabric from his village, while visiting family in africa. traditionally there is embroidery adorning it when making mens clothing.. ((since i dont have one of those machines and can’t even figure out what its called)) i did a basic stitch. i had some left over material and made myself a shirt – maybe i’ll post that up too… yay!!
does anyone know what the african embroidery stitch called?
