This pattern is also from Colette patterns – I am in love with all their designs! I adjusted it for my smaller bust (I am a B cup, the patterns are drafted for a C.) I think this dress has a delightful late 50s/early 60s vibe. Note to self: must learn some 60s hairstyles to match the dress! I have many, many more details on my blog – http://stitchywitch.wordpress.com/2010/02/09/fo-rooibos-dress/
Green wool crepe, and rayon crepe for the facings.

I just talked myself out of buying the Rooibos pattern yesterday but I think you’ve talked me back into it! It looks fantastic on you.

Utterly gorgeous! The color you picked is amazing—I love it. :) Aren’t the Colette Patterns the best?! I just finished making the Sencha blouse and this one is on my pattern wishlist for later in the year. ;)

I love them! I have the Sencha pattern too… I’m going to make it in silk at some point soon. I love your version – I was just looking at it, and the print is adorable – what a lucky find!

This is so cute! I keep hearing about these Colette patterns, but have never seen one in real life. They’re all so adorable!
I’ve never searched for 60s hairstyles before, but I’ve learned a lot about 50s styles by searching on youtube. People put up some amazing tutorials!

I love the youtube hair tutorials, even though I’m not great at doing my hair!

Ha ha! Yeah, I’m not great at it either, but thanks to youtube I have mastered pin curls…that’s about it, but they ARE super cute!
