An elegant cape made of black lace fabric. I think it’s cotton, but I don’t know for sure. The cape is gathered at the neckline, and cut asymmetrically so it swooshes across the front. It closes with a black frog closure at the neck. I’ve had people ask if it was made from a tablecloth… the answer is no; I bought the fabric off the bolt at a fabric store. I also made the chemise she is wearing with it.
Cotton or cotton/poly lace fabric. Wool bias tape at the neck. Nylon frog button. Thread. The chemise is 100% linen.
