A dress I look forward to wearing at the first hint of spring each year. I hand stitched this before a kind elderly lady gave me my 1953 Singer.
I modified this pattern by removing the sleeves, self lining the bodice, and adding a split overskirt.

I think it’s the perfect romantic dress! I never cared much for empire line clothes, but I’m feeling more and more tempted to try. Yours has a great kind of Jane Austen-light feel to it.
