I have been dreaming of making this dress for a long time. It is soft and feminine. I used two layers of petal blue sheer fabric and my favorite dress pattern Simplicity #5591. I hand basted the lace to the bodice before using a machine satin stitch to apply it. The floating sleeves are from a top pattern, New Look #6808. This dress took some time and effort to make but was so worth it.
