This is a completely machine washable shoulder bag with removable, handmade flowers. There is a lined, interior pocket and a magnetic clasp.
I spent less then $5 at the thrift store to get all the materials for this bag. The lining is from a pillow case. The corduroy handles were a pair of pants. The tapestry and shiny burgundy fabric came from the fabric scrap bin.

My local Salvation Army sells scraps less than a yard for $0.25-0.55. I rarely buy new fabric. Thrift stores and garage sales have kept me pleased and busy for years now. Happy sewing!
