Actually, it is not a model of authentic peasant dress, it is a stylized one. I took the pictures to the National Peasant Museum from Bucharest and the lovely Ana is my colleague:)

This dress is beautiful too. I have just returned from Bulgaria and saw similar peasant costumes which I love because of the embroidery. I bought home a most beautiful embroidered table runner stitched in traditional patterns.

I find our Europe very beautiful from this point of view. We are living near each other, but there are huge cultural differences.
