Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Part of my final collection for my Graduate Diploma course at Central Saint Martins. Done in crepe back silk satin in indigo and hand embroidered with golden accents. This particular dress won a Student Commendation at the 2009 Hand and Lock Prize for Embroidery (visit www.handembroidery.com)
I do have to say I did NOT do the sewing on the garment, I designed and hand embroidered everything. Credit goes to Patricia, the technician who sewed the dress, for her fantastic work.

thank you! I guess it may be the CSM touch, which involves a lot of crying and a nail-bed infection. :-/ All in all, well worth it! I’m glad you’ve read my blog, although I haven’t posted anything for a while now…

It is quite heavy, yes… The worst part of the process was attaching the rope at the neckline.
