Burda Style For people who sew
Description
For this dress I used vintage Juniors dress pattern 6285 by McCalls. Its an original print I purchased from ebay…I think its from the sixties. I really liked the vintage vibe I was getting from the fabric….so I thought it would be a fun dress….you know…instead of throw pillows or curtains….hehe.

it’s so gorgeous – but I’d love to know how you got your belt to sit and stay where it’s supposed to? I can’t see any belt loops… would love to know as I’m making a similar dress right now and would like to rock a belt with it!

Well…It’s a purchased belt that is elastic in the back…so it stays in place pretty well. If you add belt loops i would recommend just making thread loops.

So cute!! I love this dress!! I have very similar fabric but only enough to make a skirt. I wish I had more so I could make a dress similar to this. It’s adorable! And it looks fabulous on you!
