Made this dress (Burda 8174) for a rock ’n roll party in 2008.
I was lucky enough to find the same checkered cotton with and without little flowers and decided to use the flowered one for the top part and plain one for the skirt. Adjusted the skirt to make it wider.
The 4 tiered petticoat took me ages to make, as I made 4 layers and I did not have a ruffle foot and had to ruffle all tiers by hand.
