Find a scrap of fabric that is comparable to the fabric used for Kimono tee. Be sure that it has good drape and will lay in a way that you like around the neckline. Look for a scrap of unusual shape and size that has enough length to give you at least 26.5 inches to go around your neckline (MEASURE NECKLINE PROPERLY IN ADVANCE TO BE SURE OF SIZE) and provide enough drop for the tails. My scrap was approx 62" of “length” and had a natural triangular shape. Trim scrap to get the shape you want if needed.
