Burda Style For people who sew

So I was watching ‘How I met your Mother’ Season 5, episode 20 when I saw the character Robin Scherbatsky wearing a red number that sparked a reaction in the left side of my brain. I ran into my sewing room flicking through my patterns and low-and-behold there it was; I had the exact pattern of the dress she was wearing! A Tracy Reese creation for vogue #V1190. Challenge accepted.
I got to it, and here is my version of this lovely dress pattern. I recommend giving it a crack. I have attached a few pics that I took of my TV with the character Robin wearing the Tracy Reese dress. I realise on reflection that they look a bit stalker-ish.
Somehow I think my dress might have cost a lil’ bit less than Miss Scherbatsy’s.

Stalkerish they may be.. but those photos do show that you look about 5000 times more amazing in YOUR version of the same dress!! The cut, the detail, the colour AND the fabric were excellent choices!
