I designed this garment in 2006 for Simplicity’s annual Creativity Contest. The dress was awarded Grand Prize in the Rising Star category (sewers under 18). Simplicity patterns and Hatched in Africa embroidery were used to create my one-of-a-kind design. Later that year, the garment was also featured in the BabyLock booth at the International Quilt Festival.

Thanks! Actually, I used metallic thread to give it shine instead of beads.
