A new ring sling, this time realized on request of my future mother-in-law as present for the daughter of a friend of her, who just had a boy.
I packed it together with a piece of paper explaining features of the sling, details for washing and information to find useful videos to learn how to use the sling.
For this sling I used a light-blue cotton piquet with seams in contrasting colour, matching the dark-blue rings.
I realized also a bag in double layer of fabric with coulisse to protect the rings during the washing cycles.
Since I’m a bit fanatical about symmetrics, this time I tried to realize symmetric pleats on the rings side instead of using the same tutorial that I used for the previous slings. The technique needs to be improved, but I think I’m on the right path.
