I had been wanting a rider’s jacket for a while, so when Larissa came out I was so excited!
I had to try it.
Somehow I managed to find some time to sew in between feeding and changing a newborn, which is every couple hours or less. The whole thing took me like a week because I also made some mistakes, and had to adjust things.
I lengthened bodice, and shortened the sleeves. Also, had to take in the shoulders a bit.
I really wanted the jacket, but I don’t know if I like it on me… don’t think it looks that great on me… :(
It might have looked better if I used stiffer fabric… ?
don't know exactly what they are... outer: jersey like fabric inner: flannel like stretchy fabric

I really like the changes you made, particularly with the length. I find the original too wide and boxy for the heavy fabric. I think the added length balances it out nicely..
